A Passion for Teaching

Encouraged by respected instructors like Maestro Shekarchi and Maestro Ardeshir Kamkar (in Kamancheh, her professional instrument), Marjan was inspired to take on a teaching role in music.

She began teaching in 2009, offering instruction in:

  • Kamancheh

  • Violin

  • Piano


International Performances

After her debut in Germany (2015), Marjan performed across Europe in:

  • France

  • Germany

  • The Netherlands

  • Switzerland

One of her most memorable performances was on Germany National Day in Hamburg, the birthplace of Johannes Brahms.



🇨🇦 New Chapter in Canada

In recognition of her artistic excellence, the Canadian government granted Marjan permanent residency and citizenship in 2018.

Since arriving in Canada, she has worked tirelessly to introduce and teach Iranian folk music to students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Marjan’s Musical Journey

Marjan began her musical journey at the age of 8, starting with the violin. Her passion for music deepened when she entered music high school, where she chose the piano as her specialized instrument.

She graduated top of her class in 2015 with a Master of Music from the Tehran University of Art. Due to her exceptional academic performance, she was awarded a full scholarship by the Iranian Ministry of Education throughout her studies.

Encouraged by renowned instructors such as Maestro Shekarchi and Maestro Ardeshir Kamkar (in Kamancheh, her professional instrument), Marjan was inspired to begin teaching music after completing her training. In 2009, she started teaching Kamancheh, Violin, and Piano.

Her first international performance was in Germany (2015), followed by a series of concerts in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, lasting until 2018. A notable highlight was her performance on Germany’s National Day in Hamburg, the hometown of Johannes Brahms.

Recognizing her artistic talent, the Canadian government granted her permanent residency and citizenship in 2018.

Since moving to Canada, Marjan has tirelessly promoted Iranian folk music among international students. She is now an active member of the:

  • Vancouver Musician Association

  • Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra

  • North American Musician Association
