Marjan’s Early Life & Education

  • Started musical journey at the age of 8 with the violin.

  • After entering music high school, chose the piano as her specialized instrument.

  • Graduated with Master of Music at the top of the 2015 class from Tehran University of Art.

  • Awarded full scholarship by the Iranian Ministry of Education for outstanding academic achievement.

  • Mentored by Maestro Shekarchi and Maestro Ardeshir Kamkar (Kamancheh – her professional instrument).

  • Began teaching Kamancheh, Violin, and Piano in 2009.

Professional Performances & International Career

  • First international performance in Germany (2015), followed by concerts in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland (2015–2018).

  • Highlight: Performance on Germany National Day in Hamburg – hometown of Johannes Brahms.

  • Received Canadian residency & citizenship (2018) for her exceptional skills.

  • Promotes Iranian folk music among students of diverse nationalities in Canada.

  • Active member of:

    • Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra

    • North American Musician Association
